Khufu’s Pyramid is built entirely of limestone, and is considered as architectural masterpiece. It contains around 1,300,000 blocks ranging in weight from 2.5 tons to 15 tons and is built on a square base with sides measuring about 230m (755ft), covering 13 acres!!!!     🙂 🙂 :):)

ore info  The ancient Egyptians built pyramids as tombs for thepharons and their queens. The pharaohs were buried in pyramids of many different shapes and sizes from before the beginning of the old kingdom to the end of the middle kingdom. they built them near niles becauseThe reason they built the pyramids next to the Nile River was so it would be easier to get the blocks to the pyramid. The stones could be bought nearer to the pyramid building site by boat     for more information go to google and type Egyption pyramids
